(Lisle, Illinois) Tim Seeden, President and Founder of Association Solutions, Ltd. has been awarded a scholarship from The American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) to attend a Legislative Summit and American Association Day in Washington, DC. Seeden is one of only 13 Association Executives from Illinois awarded the scholarship.
The Annual Legislative Fly-In will be held in Washington, DC on March 22-23, 2006. This grassroots event offers an opportunity for association advocates to educate Capitol Hill staff on the critical issues and challenges facing associations.
The Fly-In will commence on Wednesday, March 22, and the kick-off includes a joint luncheon with ASAE’s Board of Directors followed by a grassroots, education and lobby best practices session. We will wrap up the day with an up-to-the-minute issues briefing. On Thursday, March 23, Seeden will visit with staff members of the US Senate and House to discuss issues of importance to the association community.
This year’s Fly-In has representation from all over the country including: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.
ASAE is the world's leading membership organization for the association management profession. Mr. Seeden has been a member for 16 years and this is his 3rd scholarship to Washington, DC in 6 years.
